What a fantastic finish to the Stratford-upon-Avon Sunday Netball League, powered by You Play Netball!
After 10 exciting weeks of action, the season came to a thrilling close last night with plenty of great performances, close competition, and standout moments across both divisions.
In Division 1, Stratford Darlings delivered a brilliant performance to defeat Golden Eagles 24-13, showing great teamwork and control throughout the game. But the biggest celebrations belonged to Girls of Glory, who were crowned Division 1 champions after an impressive season that saw them secure 8 wins and finish on 16 points. They wrapped up their title-winning campaign in style with a strong 21-11 victory over Court Queens.
Division 2 also saw a closely fought battle, with Alveston coming out on top to take the title after earning 11 points and 5 wins across the season. A huge congratulations to them on a fantastic achievement!
One of the standout performances of the final week came from Natalie West of Rogue Angels, who was named Most Valued Player of the Week. Her energy, skill, and determination were on full display as she helped guide Rogue Angels to an impressive 8-0 win over Star Hoops.
Congratulations to all teams and players who took part this season. From amazing teamwork to unforgettable moments on court, it’s been a brilliant season of netball in Stratford-upon-Avon. We can’t wait to see everyone back for another exciting season soon!
