Buxton Thursday Week 9 - 15/1/26
Just a reminder, next week 22nd January will be the end of the season and the new season will start up on 29th January!
In a rousing display of sportsmanship, athleticism, and sheer determination, the 9th week of the Buxton Thursday Netball League saw exhilarating performances from every team in the League Division.
Pointer Sisters and Spring Into Action kicked off the evening's matches, with Spring Into Action leaping to a decisive 19-8 victory. Their energetic and efficient play was unmatched. The team's offense and defense left the Pointer Sisters in their wake through an incredible match.
The night progressed with another intense match - Rock N Goal versus No Bux Given. Rock N Goal showcased their prowess and solid coordination by winning against No Bux Given with a striking scoreline of 16-4. This was clearly a night for the underdogs as Rock N Goal ensured their opponents never got a foothold.
However, the standout game of the night was without a doubt Buxton Beauts against Buxton Ballers. Buxton Ballers took no prisoners as they won the match, ending with an impressive 28-4 scoreline. The Ballers' speed, skill and teamwork were unmatched on the court.
The top scorers for the division were Spring Into Action and Buxton Ballers, with their striking victories. Their fantastic teamwork is setting the bar high for the weeks to come. As we approach the 10th week of the Buxton Thursday Netball League, the anticipation and excitement are palpable.
