Buxton Thursday Week 8 - 29/3/26

The 8th week of the adrenaline-pumping Buxton Thursday Netball league saw dramatic matches and stunning performances in the League division. The division this week gave us end-to-end action that kept spectators on the edge of their seats.

In a thrilling showdown, Buxton Ballers emerged victorious over Buxton Beauts with a compelling 14-10 score line. The game saw some exceptional play, but it was Ellie Cooper from Buxton Beauts who stole the show. Her outstanding performance earned her the accolade of the most valued player of the week. Cooper demonstrated exceptional skill and sportsmanship, making her a deserving recipient of this coveted title.

Our second enthralling match of the night was between Rock N Goal and No Bux Given, with Rock N Goal coming out on top, 17-8. 

In the clash of the titans, Pointer Sisters fell to Spring Into Action in a close contest, with the final score being 12-18.

With only two weeks left in the exciting season, teams are working hard to secure top positions and spectators are eagerly waiting to see who will reign supreme.

As we approach the end of the season, the race for the top scorer's position in each division is heating up. It's a battle of skill, strategy, and stamina, and we can't wait to see who will come out on top.
