Play in the Buxton Thursday you play netball league
Week 6 of the Buxton Thursday Netball League brought another enjoyable evening of fast-paced netball, with all teams showing great effort, teamwork, and determination on court.
Pointer Sisters and Rock N Goal got the night underway with an entertaining match full of energy and positive play. Pointer Sisters worked well together throughout the game and came away with a 15–10 win after a strong team performance.
Shooting Stars then faced No Bux Given in another closely contested fixture. Both teams battled hard from start to finish, but Shooting Stars managed to edge ahead and secure a 12–9 victory thanks to some confident shooting and solid teamwork.
Buxton Babes also impressed with a well-played 13–6 win over Spring Into Action. Their communication and movement around the court helped them put together a strong all-round performance in an enjoyable game for everyone involved.
A special mention goes to Lisa Box from Buxton Babes, who was named Player of the Week. Lisa delivered an excellent performance, showing great leadership, teamwork, and accuracy in front of goal throughout the match.
As the season continues, the Buxton Thursday League is proving to be a fantastic mix of fun, teamwork, and friendly competition. With every team continuing to improve and support one another, there’s plenty to look forward to in the weeks ahead.
