In an electrifying week 6 of the Buxton Thursday Netball league, the League teams showcased some impressive skills, yielding results that have set the stage for the future course of the season.
In a compelling clash for the League, Spring Into Action came out on top against Rock n Goal, scoring them an impressive 27-3 victory. Their playstyle and precise passing places Spring Into Action firmly at the top of the division leaderboard, demonstrating their prowess on the court.
In an equally exciting matchup, Buxton Beauts were narrowly edged out by Pointer Sisters, who clinched the game 7-6. In a match where every goal mattered, Pointer Sisters managed to hold on to their slender lead in a nerve-wracking finish, leaving Buxton Beauts to regroup and strategize for their upcoming fixtures.
No Bux Given showed real grit this week, going head-to-head with a strong Buxton Ballers side. Despite the 17–6 result, there were plenty of positives to take away, with moments of determined defence and attacking intent throughout the game.
