Buxton Thursday Week 5 - 21/5/26

Week 5 of the Buxton Thursday Netball League brought another fun evening of netball, with all teams showing great teamwork, effort, and sportsmanship on the court.

League leaders Buxton Ballers had a strong game against Buxton Babes, finishing with a 21-3 win. Both teams showed great enthusiasm throughout the match, with the Ballers finding their rhythm early on.

One of the closest games of the night saw Spring Into Action take on No Bux Given. It was a fantastic match with both teams playing brilliantly from start to finish. In the end, No Bux Given just edged the game with a narrow 7-6 victory.

The Shooting Stars also put in a determined performance against the Pointer Sisters. Both teams played with great energy, with the Pointer Sisters coming away with a 13-8 win after an enjoyable and competitive match.

A special mention goes to Jenna Murdoch from the Shooting Stars, who was named this week’s Most Valued Player. Jenna impressed everyone with her positive attitude, skill, and dedication on court, truly showing the spirit of the league.

With another exciting week completed, everyone is already looking forward to next week’s games and more great netball moments together.
