In a thrilling conclusion to the Buxton Thursday Netball league, Buxton Ballers clinched the title of the League division in a heart-stopping match, marking the end of the 10-week season!
Buxton Ballers ended the season in a blaze of glory with a victory of 17-4 against Rock N Goal. The champions of the League division demonstrated their teamwork in the league, ending the season with an impressive total of 16 points and 8 victories.
In other matchups, Spring Into Action edged past Buxton Beauts in a nail-biting game, finishing with a score of 10-9. In another close encounter, No Bux Given narrowly outplayed Pointer Sisters, winning the game 11-9, proving once again that the League division was incredibly close until the very end.
Player of the Season title has been awarded to Sarah Brooks from Spring into Action, who exhibited exceptional skills and an incredible performance throughout the league. Brooks continuously impressed both spectators and competitors with her sportswoman spirit and unwavering dedication to the game.
