It was another joyful evening of social netball at the St Francis of Assisi sporting grounds this past Sunday. Week 14 of the season brought together a wonderful blend of athletes of all skill levels, creating a welcoming ambiance filled with laughter, camaraderie and the shared passion for a great night of netball.

The first match of the evening saw the energetic Goal Getters play a lively game against the High Hoops. Both teams demonstrated exceptional teamwork and commitment with the High Hoops finishing the night with a score of 19-16. An immensely enjoyable game, it showcased fantastic sportsmanship and positive vibes all round.

In the second match of the night, Time To Shine radiated their positive energy on the court against the Aldridge Allsorts. Embodying their name, Time To Shine ended with a score of 22-5. Their admirable sportsmanship and the spirit in which the game was played made it a memorable encounter.

The third match witnessed Flaming Divas light up the court against Step Aside. The game ended with the Flaming Divas scoring 8-4. Despite the score, both teams exhibited a remarkable spirit of friendliness, making it an absolute delight to watch.

This week, a special mention goes to Kirsty Burn from Step Aside who was named the Most Valued Player. Kirsty's enthusiasm on the court was contagious. Her movements were nimble, lighting up the court with positivity. Her contribution to the game was appreciated widely by teammates and opponents alike, making her a well-deserved recipient of the title.
