Play in the Walsall Sunday social netball league

The St Francis of Assisi community centre was abuzz last Sunday evening as Week 10 of the social netball season unfolded. In the heart of Aldridge, players of all experience levels gathered to enjoy a remarkable evening of netball. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the camaraderie on display was a testament to the true essence of sport.

In the Premier League, Flaming Divas and High Hoops took to the court, resulting in an engaging game. The Divas finished the game with a score of 12-4. Their commitment to developing their skills and their sportsmanship was evident throughout the match, and it was clear that both teams thoroughly enjoyed the contest.

Goal Getters and Aldridge Allsorts were next. Goal Getters played with a vibrancy that lifted the spirits of everyone present, finishing with an impressive score of 32-6. The Allsorts, however, did not let the score dampen their spirit, displaying great energy and teamwork throughout the game.

Sutton Ballers and Step Aside closed the evening with an 11-1 game. The Ballers played with enthusiasm and positive energy, while Step Aside demonstrated their love for the game with their unwavering commitment. Despite the score, it was an enjoyable game that was played in great spirit.

Sarah Vickers, from Time To Shine, was the Most Valued Player of the week. Her dynamic movement around the court and infectious enthusiasm were admired by teammates and opponents alike. Her positive contribution to the game was, without doubt, a standout moment of the evening.

As we head into Week 11, we look forward to another friendly evening of social netball. Whether you're there to keep active, meet new people, or develop your netball skills, St Francis of Assisi provides an inclusive and supportive environment for everyone. We can't wait to welcome you back on the court for another round of fun-filled netball games.
