Play in the Walsall Sunday social netball league

The sweet sound of laughter and the echo of team cheers filled the air at St Francis of Assisi on the delightful evening of week 6 of the social netball season. The atmosphere was welcoming and full of camaraderie, with players of diverse experience levels joyfully participating in the night's games. From the newcomers to the seasoned players, everyone enjoyed the great spirit of netball that was on display.

The first match of the evening featured High Hoops and Step Aside. The game ended with High Hoops securing a score of 15 against Step Aside who put up a competitive score of 7. The match was marked by incredible teamwork, commitment, and sportsmanship. The positive energy radiating from both teams was palpable, making it an enjoyable game for all involved.

Next up were Goal Getters and Sutton Ballers. Goal Getters finished the game with a remarkable score of 25, while Sutton Ballers displayed a valiant effort, ending the game with a score of 8. The game was played in great spirit, showcasing both teams' dedication and sportsmanship. The cheerfulness and team spirit displayed by both teams were a true reflection of what social netball is all about.

A special mention goes to Grace Cope from Aldridge Allsorts who was recognized as the Most Valued Player of the week. Grace's enthusiasm was infectious, and her movement around the court was a sight to behold. Her positive contribution was greatly appreciated by her teammates and opponents alike, highlighting the friendly camaraderie of social netball.

As we look ahead to week 7, we can expect yet another wonderful evening of friendly social netball. It will be another chance to keep active, meet new people, and further develop netball skills in a supportive and friendly environment. Here's to another week of the spirit of netball, where we celebrate not just the scores, but the experience and the joy of the game.
