Week 2 of the ongoing social netball season unfolded beautifully at St Francis of Assisi, with an air of camaraderie and sportsmanship filling the evening. The sports complex was abuzz with players of all experience levels, from novices to seasoned veterans, all united by their shared love for netball. The spirit of Back to Netball truly shone brightly as the games progressed, reinforcing the event's objective of promoting active, healthy lifestyles and fostering friendships.

The first match saw Flaming Divas and Aldridge Allsorts play out an engaging fixture. The game ended with Flaming Divas recording a score of 25-12. Despite the score line, the game was a display of impeccable teamwork, enthusiastic commitment, and an abundance of positive energy from both sides.

Following this, Goal Getters and Step Aside enjoyed a lively match. Goal Getters finished the game with a score of 25-4. The interaction between the players, their sportsmanship, and the overall spirit of the game underscored why social netball is so cherished by its participants.

Lastly, Time To Shine and Sutton Ballers locked horns in a match that was brimming with energy. Time To Shine emerged with a score of 15-5. Both teams demonstrated an excellent understanding of the game, showcasing not just their netball skills but also their shared love for this sport.

A special mention must go to Camilla Macliver of Sutton Ballers, who was named the Most Valued Player of the week. Camilla's movement around the court, tireless enthusiasm and positive contribution were appreciated by teammates and opponents alike. Her performance exemplified the essence of social netball.
