Play in the Walsall Sunday social netball league

Last Sunday marked the 14th week of a truly enjoyable season of social netball, hosted by the welcoming surroundings of St. Francis of Assisi. The evening was filled with energy and enthusiasm, with players of varying experience levels participating, sharing laughter, and adding to the vibrant atmosphere of camaraderie.

In the heart of the Premier League group, the Flaming Divas and the Saddlers had an enthralling match. The Flaming Divas and Saddlers showcased their teamwork and commitment, ending the game with a score of 26-5. Both teams displayed exceptional sportsmanship and positive energy, making it a thoroughly enjoyable game, played in the best of spirit.

Next up, Step Aside and Net Set Go kept everyone on their toes with a nail-biting match. The final score was a close 9-8 in favor of Net Set Go. Both teams highlighted the essence of friendly competition and camaraderie, a testament to what social netball is all about.

The third match showcased the Sutton Ballers and High Hoops. The High Hoops finished the game with a score of 26-11, an exciting match that radiated positive energy and sportsmanship on both ends.

In the final match of the evening, Time To Shine and Goal Getters displayed a thrilling contest. Ending with a score of 17-6, the match was a brilliant showcase of friendly, competitive spirit and excellent teamwork.

A special mention goes to Anne-Marie Morrell from the Saddlers. Anne-Marie's enthusiasm and movement around the court were exemplary, and her positive contribution was appreciated by both teammates and opponents alike.

With this final week, we want to thank everyone who took part in the games. It's been a season filled with personal growth, team bonding, and loads of enjoyment. As we look forward to Week 15, we anticipate another evening of friendly social netball, keeping active, meeting new people, and developing netball skills in a supportive environment. From novice players to the more experienced, every player has added to the successful Premier League season. Heartiest congratulations to the Goal Getters for leading the way among teams, your warm spirit and dedication have been remarkable.
