Aldridge Sunday Night Netball - Week 1 of the new season
In the League, Time To Shine emerged victorious over Sutton Ballers in a nail-biting showdown, with the final score tallying at 19-13. Despite the loss, Sutton Ballers' player, Camilla Macliver, stole the show, earning the title of the most valued player of the week with her exceptional performance on the field.
The stage was set alight by the fiery clash between Net Set Go and Flaming Divas, ending with the Divas triumphantly securing a lead with 15-7. The Goal Getters lived up to their name, outclassing Saddlers with a score of 18-9, while High Hoops towered over Step Aside, with an overwhelming 22-4 victory.
The top scorers for the League were Time To Shine and High Hoops, both making strong statements for the season ahead. The fierce competition and top-tier performances have set the bar high for the weeks to follow. Camilla Macliver's standout performance for Sutton Ballers has already established her as a player to watch this season.
