Aldridge Sunday Evening netball - week 1 of the season
In a pulsating encounter that had fans on the edge of their seats, Flaming Divas triumphed 23-19. The Divas’ fiery performance has indeed set the tone for the season, signalling a warning to other teams in the division.
Meanwhile, Goal Getters outperformed Sutton Ballers with a 15-9 win. Their strategic play combined with agile footwork was a spectacle, with one player standing out from the rest – the phenomenal Liv Bevan. Bevan, who was rightfully named the Most Valued Player of the week, showcased exceptional skills and leadership on the pitch, propelling Goal Getters to secure their first win of the season.
High Hoops surged to a commanding victory over Step Aside with a score of 25-4, topping the division as the highest scoring team in the first week. Their dominant performance exhibited a winning start to their campaign, raising the bar for the weeks to come.
Saddlers, despite a commendable effort, fell short to Net Set Go, who clinched the match with a 21-8 score. Net Set Go's determination and tactical prowess have already stirred excitement for their next game.
