Great Action in Week 12 of the Walsall Sunday Social Netball League

Week 12 of the Walsall Sunday Social Netball League delivered another enjoyable evening of netball, with teams continuing to show fantastic commitment, teamwork, and sportsmanship as the season enters its final stages. With only a couple of weeks remaining, every match is providing teams with an opportunity to finish the season strongly and build momentum heading into the closing rounds.

Flaming Divas produced an excellent team performance against Saddlers, demonstrating great communication, movement, and teamwork throughout the match. Their confidence and consistency were evident across the court, while Saddlers continued to work hard and showed great determination from start to finish.

One of the closest and most exciting matches of the evening saw Net Set Go take on Step Aside. Both teams battled hard throughout a closely contested game, producing some excellent passages of play and keeping spectators engaged until the final whistle. The determination and effort shown by both sides perfectly reflected the competitive but friendly spirit of the league.

High Hoops were also in impressive form, putting together a strong all-round performance against Sutton Ballers. Their teamwork and movement around the court helped them maintain momentum throughout the game, while Sutton Ballers continued to show resilience and a positive attitude despite facing a tough challenge.

Goal Getters and Time To Shine rounded off the evening with an entertaining encounter. Both teams demonstrated excellent effort and commitment, creating an enjoyable contest filled with strong defensive play and well-worked attacking moves. The match highlighted the quality and enthusiasm that has been present throughout the season.

A special congratulations goes to Camilla Macliver of Sutton Ballers, who was named Most Valuable Player of the Week. Camilla delivered an outstanding individual performance and impressed with her skill, determination, and work rate throughout the match. Her contribution was a fantastic example of the talent and dedication that can be found across the league.

As the season approaches its conclusion, it is fantastic to see teams continuing to play with such enthusiasm and sportsmanship. The league has provided a brilliant opportunity for players to enjoy competitive social netball, make new friendships, and develop their game in a fun and welcoming environment.
