Week 1 at the Bristol Wednesday YouPlay Netball League

The new season got off to a great start, with a fun and energetic evening of netball across the Premier League division.

“She’s A Keeper” began their campaign with a positive 8–5 win over the “Bristol Belles,” in a match that showed good teamwork and plenty of effort from both sides.

“Pass Perfect” also enjoyed a strong start, earning a 16–5 result against “Net A Clue.” It was a solid team performance that puts them in a good position early in the season.

Meanwhile, “Odd Balls” and “Avon Vixens” played out a closely matched game, finishing 7–7. Both teams showed great determination and worked hard throughout to keep things even.

A special mention goes to Laura Chapman of “Net A Clue,” who was named Most Valued Player this week. Her movement, passing, and overall contribution stood out and made a real difference on court.

With the first week complete, it’s great to see teams settling in and enjoying their netball. There’s plenty more to come as the season continues.
