Play in the Redditch Thursday Netball League

It was another enjoyable evening of netball at the Redditch Thursday YoyPlay Netball League as teams returned for week 7 of the season. With the league now reaching the halfway stage, players continued to show great teamwork, effort and enthusiasm on court.

One of the matches of the evening saw The Flyballers take on The Golden Goalers. Both teams showed great determination and teamwork throughout the game, with The Flyballers coming away with a 12–5 win. It was a well-played match with some excellent passing, movement and defensive play from both sides.

A special mention this week goes to Jenna Read from Game Of Throws, who was named Most Valuable Player. Jenna impressed with her movement around the court and accurate shooting, making a big contribution to her team’s performance on the night.

Across the Premier League division there were some strong team displays and plenty of great goals scored, highlighting the positive spirit and commitment from everyone involved.

The Redditch Thursday YouPlay Netball League continues to be a great way for players to enjoy the sport, stay active and be part of a friendly local competition. With the second half of the season still to come, there are plenty more fun and exciting games ahead.
