Redditch Thursday YouPlay Netball League News 2026-02-12

Come and be part of the fun at the Redditch Thursday Netball League — a great way to stay active, see friends, and enjoy some friendly competition each week!

The new season kicked off in Division 1 with plenty of laughs, teamwork, and great moments on court.

The Flyballers and Game Of Throws got things started with a really close 12–10 game. It was end-to-end action throughout, with both teams showing great teamwork and encouragement. The Flyballers just managed to edge it, but it was a brilliant team effort from both sides.

Golden Goalers had a strong game against Redditch Ravens, finishing 17–5. The Ravens kept battling and supporting each other right to the final whistle, while Golden Goalers found their rhythm and worked beautifully as a team.

Goal Diggers and Nets Top Model also shared a lively match, with Goal Diggers taking a 16–9 win. There were some fantastic passes and impressive shooting on show, and plenty of cheers from teammates on the sidelines.

A special shoutout goes to Steph Considine from Game Of Throws, who was named Most Valued Player this week. Her energy, positivity, and all-round performance really stood out and summed up what the league is all about.

It’s only the first week, and there’s already a great buzz around the league. Whether you’re playing to win, to keep fit, or just for the social side and post-match chats, Thursday nights in Redditch are the place to be.
