Redditch Thursday YouPlay Netball League news 2025-11-13

Reminder we are back at St Augustine's next week (20th Nov) and to please remove all jewllery prior to you match. 

Week two in the Premier League of the Redditch Thursday 7-a-side Netball League was full of lively games, great team spirit, and lots of feel-good moments on court. Four teams picked up wins, but everyone brought enthusiasm and plenty to cheer about.

Golden Goalers kicked off the evening with a strong and upbeat performance against Nets Top Model, finishing 24–7. Their quick passing and confident shooting kept the game flowing and fun to watch from start to finish.

Game of Throws also enjoyed a great runout, taking a 12–6 win over Innovate Ballers. Their solid defence and calm play helped keep the match close and competitive, giving both sides plenty of chances to shine.

The Flyballers and Redditch Ravens followed with another entertaining match. The Flyballers found their rhythm early and finished 16–5, while the Ravens showed great determination and teamwork all the way through.

A special mention goes to Sharon Gowland of the Redditch Ravens, who was named our MVP of the week. Her energy, skill, and positive attitude stood out throughout the match—proof that standout moments come from all corners of the court, no matter the final score.

With week three on the way, teams are excited to keep building momentum, enjoying the matches, and sharing more Thursday-night netball fun. There’s plenty more to look forward to as the season continues!
