In a thrilling night of netball, the Canterbury Monday league reached its eighth week of the season in the prestigious Premier League division, with some standout performances shaking up the leaderboard.

The Shooting Stars put on a stellar performance, outclassing No Direction with a decisive 28-9 victory. The Stars’ immaculate passing game and shooting accuracy were on full display, reaffirming that they are a force to be reckoned with this season.

In another exciting match, the Rowdy Rockets launched past the Tigers for a solid 20-7 win. The Rockets' tenacious defense and quick transitions were too much for the Tigers to handle and the Rockets reaped the rewards.

One of the closely contested games of the evening was between Win Or Booze and Canterbury Hot Shots. In a nail-biting encounter, the Hot Shots edged past Win Or Booze with a narrow 12-10 victory. Despite the loss, the standout player of the week came from Win Or Booze. Suzie Drake showcased her immense talent, proving her value to her team and the league, earning her the Most Valued Player title of the week.
