Title: Week 9 Round-Up – Kettering Wednesday Netball League
Week 9 of the Kettering Wednesday Netball League delivered another enjoyable evening of competitive and good-spirited matches. Teams continue to grow in confidence each week, and it’s great to see the positive energy and sportsmanship across the league.
Ghostbusters took on Hoop Troopers in a closely contested match, with Hoop Troopers coming away with a 14–10 win. Ghostbusters put in a strong defensive performance and showed great determination throughout, and they’ll be looking forward to building on that in the weeks ahead.
One Hoop Wonders produced a confident display against Net Profits, earning a 12–4 victory. Their teamwork and communication really stood out and made for an entertaining game.
The Vixens faced NET2HOLIDAYS in another competitive fixture. NET2HOLIDAYS secured a 13–4 win thanks to consistent shooting and solid teamwork, but both sides showed great effort from start to finish.
Wingin It enjoyed a strong performance against the Hustlers, winning 23–4. Their attacking flow and steady defence helped them have a very positive evening in the netball this week.
Court In The Act also had a good result, finishing 16–3 against Netspressos. Despite the scoreline, Netspressos’ Emma Vidaurri delivered a standout individual performance and was deservedly named Most Valued Player of the Week. Her movement and awareness on court made a real impact for her team.
As we head into Week 10, the League continues to provide a welcoming and enjoyable environment for all teams, with plenty of encouraging performances and supportive team spirit on display. We look forward to seeing how the season continues to develop.
