Title: Kettering Wednesday’s Netball Round-Up: Week 5 Highlights

Week five of the Kettering Wednesday netball league brought another fun and competitive set of matches, with plenty of great teamwork and close contests throughout the night. A special mention goes to Liz Odell (Jumping Divas), who was named Most Valued Player after an excellent all-round performance.

Net Profits took on Hustlers in the opener and, after a lively game, Hustlers came away with a 12–7 win.

Jumping Divas followed with a strong showing against Court In The Act, securing a 20–7 victory. Liz Odell played a key part in the result, helping her side keep their momentum going throughout.

Elsewhere, Hoop Troopers earned a convincing 16–3 win over Netspressos in a match where they moved the ball well and stayed composed from start to finish.

One of the closest games of the evening saw One Hoop Wonders edge past Ghostbusters 5–4, with both teams battling hard right to the final whistle.

To close the night, Wingin It and The Vixens served up an entertaining, high-scoring match. Wingin It eventually pulled clear to win 19–12, but both teams can take plenty of positives from a competitive game.

With week six around the corner, teams will be looking to build on their performances and keep pushing up the table — there’s lots more netball to look forward to across the league.
