Leicester Sunday Social Netball

In the thrilling opening week of the new season of the Leicester Sunday, Spectators were treated to a high-octane display of athletic prowess and strategic gameplay, showcasing the promising season ahead.

Netchicks emerged victorious with a score of 14 against Foxes, who put up a valiant fight but ultimately fell short at 11. This clash of titans set the stage for an exciting season, with both teams displaying impressive agility and teamwork.

The game between Stealing Passes and Court Out was nothing short of a nail-biter. The face-off ended with a razor-thin victory for Court Out, who managed to outscore their opponents by a single point, finishing the match at 17 - 16. 

The star of the week was undoubtedly Sigourney Peel from Stealing Passes. Despite her team's narrow loss, Peel's exceptional performance on the court stood out, earning her the title of the week's most valued player. 

As the season has just begun, these opening matches have set the tone for an exciting and competitive league. 

One thing is for sure - netball fans are in for quite a treat this season.
