Leicester Sunday Night Netball Update 7th September

In the ninth week of the Leicester Sunday Night Netball, the players brought their A-game, with each match capturing the exhilarating spirit of the sport.

We had an electrifying match between Foxes and Court Out. In a face-off filled with tenacity and skill, Foxes clawed their way to victory with a final score of 23 - 16. The agility of their players coupled with the strategic manoeuvres of the team, ensured a win for the Foxes.

However, the highlight of the week was the exceptional performance by the Goal Diggers, who won against Netchicks with a score of 25 - 3. The Goal Diggers showcased their supremacy, making them the top scorers for this week.

In the midst of the high-intensity competition, one player stood out from the rest, making an indelible mark with her performance. Yasmin Felstead of Netchicks was named the most valued player of the week. Despite her team's loss, Felstead's exceptional skills, unwavering determination, and on-court leadership were second to none, earning her this well-deserved recognition.

While the week was filled with victories and defeats, the Leicester Sunday night netball continues to exemplify the spirit of camaraderie and sportsmanship.
