Week 9 Highlights – Leicester Sunday Netball League

Week 9 of the Leicester Sunday Netball League brought another fun-filled Sunday of netball, with lots of great teamwork, positive energy, and enjoyable games across the courts.

Stealing Passes took on Court Out in the first match of the day, with Stealing Passes finishing with a 21–5 win. There was some lovely link-up play on show, making it a great game to kick off the week. A special mention goes to Court Out’s Carla Hamilton, who was named MVP of the week. Her effort, movement, and commitment on court really stood out and didn’t go unnoticed.

Next up, Netchicks faced Foxes in a closely fought and entertaining match. Both teams showed strong skills and determination throughout, with Netchicks edging ahead to take an 18–13 win in what was a great contest to watch.

The final game of the week saw Brookside come up against Goal Diggers. Goal Diggers put together a strong team performance to secure a 21–9 win, rounding off an enjoyable afternoon of netball.

With Week 10 just around the corner, the Leicester Sunday Netball League continues to deliver friendly competition, great sportsmanship, and plenty of smiles on court. We’re looking forward to seeing everyone back again next week for more social netball fun.
