Leicester Sunday Netball Update - Week 8

It was another enjoyable evening of netball in the Leicester Sunday league this week, with plenty of great moments, teamwork, and positive energy on display.

Stealing Passes and Court Out played out a really close game, with Court Out just edging it 16–15. It was a great match between two well-matched teams, with lots of encouragement and good play throughout.

Foxes came away with a 16–12 win against Netchicks in a lively and well-contested game. Both teams showed great movement and teamwork, making it an enjoyable one to watch.

Brookside had a strong game against Goal Diggers, finishing 22–6. Their passing and teamwork really came together, but Goal Diggers kept going and supported each other right until the end.

A special mention goes to Ashleigh Carter from Goal Diggers, who was named this week’s Most Valued Player. Her effort and attitude on court really stood out, and she was a key part of her team’s performance.

With just a couple of weeks left, it’s great to see everyone continuing to enjoy their games, support their teammates, and make the most of each Sunday. Looking forward to more fun matches to finish the season!
