Leicester Sunday Netball League – Week 5 Round-Up

It was another great evening of netball in Leicester, with teams taking to the court for week 5 of the Sunday league. The atmosphere was full of energy, with plenty of encouragement, teamwork and support across all matches.

Goal Diggers and Foxes shared an enjoyable game, with Goal Diggers putting together some strong passages of play to finish 19–7. Both teams showed great effort and kept the game flowing throughout.

Court Out had a positive game against Netchicks, working well together to finish 14–4. It was great to see some lovely teamwork and communication on display.

Brookside and Stealing Passes also played out a really entertaining match, with Stealing Passes finishing 16–10. Both teams brought great energy to the court and made it a fun game to watch.

This week’s Most Valued Player goes to Alice Morris from Brookside, who delivered a fantastic performance. Her effort and impact on the court really stood out and earned her well-deserved recognition.

It’s been brilliant to see everyone enjoying their netball each week and creating such a friendly and welcoming environment. With more games still to come, we’re looking forward to plenty more fun and social netball in the weeks ahead.
