Leicester Sunday Netball Update - Week 3

Another Great Evening at the Leicester Sunday Netball League

It was a fantastic week of netball in Leicester on Sunday, with plenty of positive energy, teamwork and great moments across the courts as teams returned for week three of the season.

The Foxes had a strong game against Court Out, finding their flow early and building momentum throughout to finish 23–9. It was a great display of teamwork and communication, with both sides showing plenty of effort and encouragement from start to finish.

Goal Diggers also enjoyed a positive outing, working well together to secure a 17–3 win over Stealing Passes. Their movement and passing created some lovely passages of play, while Stealing Passes kept going with great determination and team spirit.

A special mention goes to Sigourney Peel from Stealing Passes, who delivered a standout performance on the night. Her interceptions and smart distribution around the court made a real impact and earned her well-deserved recognition.

In another enjoyable match, Brookside took on Netchicks in a closely fought game. Both teams battled hard and showed great sportsmanship, with Brookside finishing ahead 11–7 in a match played in excellent spirit.

It’s been brilliant to see everyone settling into the season, supporting one another and enjoying the social side of the league just as much as the action on court. We’re looking forward to another fun-filled evening of netball next week.
