Leicester Sunday Netball Update - Week 2

Week 2 of the Leicester Sunday 7-a-side Netball League brought another fantastic evening of social netball, with plenty of teamwork, encouragement, and great moments across all the games.

Stealing Passes and Netchicks played out a close and entertaining match, with Stealing Passes just edging the result 17-15. Both teams showed brilliant determination and kept the game exciting right until the final whistle.

Brookside enjoyed a strong performance against Foxes, coming away with a 17-4 win. Great communication and teamwork were on display throughout the game, while Foxes continued to show plenty of effort and positivity on court.

Goal Diggers also had a successful evening against Court Out, finishing with a 23-3 result. The team worked brilliantly together and kept the energy high from start to finish, while Court Out continued to battle hard throughout the match.

A special mention goes to Carla Hamilton from Court Out, who was named Most Valued Player of the Week. Her effort, attitude, and all-round performance stood out on the night and earned her well-deserved recognition.

With two weeks now complete, the season is already shaping up to be full of fun, friendly matches and great team spirit. We’re looking forward to seeing everyone back on court next Sunday for more social netball action.
