What a great way to wrap up the Leicester Sunday league. It’s been a fantastic few weeks of netball, with plenty of fun, teamwork, and memorable moments shared across all teams.

A big congratulations to Goal Diggers, who finished top of the league after a strong and consistent season.

Well done as well to Brookside, who secured the runners-up spot after some great performances throughout.

There were lots of highlights on the final night, including a close and enjoyable game between Brookside and Court Out, along with some great play across all teams. Foxes also had a standout moment this week, with Gugu Ncube putting in an excellent performance on court.

A special mention goes to Sejal, who has been named Player of the Season – a well-deserved recognition for her effort and consistency each week.

It’s been great to see everyone improving, supporting one another, and enjoying their netball every Sunday. We’re already looking forward to next season.
