Leicester Sunday Netball Update - Week 1

The new Leicester Sunday Netball season got off to a fantastic start this week, with plenty of great energy, teamwork, and enjoyable matches across the board.

It was lovely to see Stealing Passes and Brookside play such a closely matched game, with Stealing Passes just edging ahead 19–18 in a match that kept everyone engaged right to the final whistle.

Netchicks and Court Out also had a brilliant game, finishing 16–14. Both teams showed great effort and skill throughout, making it a really enjoyable watch.

Goal Diggers had a strong start to the season with a 26–7 win over Foxes, showing great teamwork and communication on court.

A special mention goes to Sejal Mistry from Court Out, who was named Player of the Week. Her quick reactions and accurate shooting really stood out and made a big impact during the game.

It’s shaping up to be a fun and friendly season, with lots more great netball to come. We’re looking forward to seeing everyone back on court next week!
