In an adrenaline-charged turn of events in the city's beloved netball arena, the Leicester Sunday Netball saw an exciting showdown in its third week. The crowd was held captive by the exhilarating performances of the top teams, with a roller-coaster of scores that kept every spectator on the edge of their seats.
The first match saw the Foxes take on Court Out in a nail-biting contest that ended with Court Out winning 20-15.
The second match of the evening saw the Goal Diggers take on Stealing Passes. Despite a spirited performance, Goal Diggers fell short with a final score of 12-18, handing Stealing Passes a well-deserved win.
The concluding match saw Netchicks and Brookside battle it out, with Netchicks emerging victorious with a score of 11-7. It was a neck-and-neck game that showcased the robust strategies and unyielding spirits of both teams, but ultimately the Netchicks claimed the victory.
One player stood out with an extraordinary performance - Leanne Myring from Brookside. Despite her team's loss, Myring's exceptional skill and determined gameplay landed her the honour of being named the most valued player of the week. Her striking performance is a testament to her talent, and certainly one that fans will be talking about for weeks to come.
