In a thrilling display of netball prowess, Leicester's Sunday Netball season surged into its fourth week, showcasing some of the region's finest talent.
Courting the spotlight was the electrifying match between Brookside and Court Out, with Court Out clinching a 12-8 win. Despite the valiant efforts of the Brookside ladies, Court Out's tactical superiority and display of skill left spectators in awe.
However, the star-studded showdown of the evening was undoubtedly between Stealing Passes and Foxes. Both teams battled it out in a nail-biting face-off, with Foxes narrowly edging out Stealing Passes 17-15, in what can only be described as a netball masterclass. The passionate display from both teams was a testament to their dedication and sportsmanship.
In yet another clash, Goal Diggers demonstrated their skills with a 12-2 victory over Netchicks. Despite the loss, Netchicks put up a spirited fight under the leadership of the league's most valued player, Nikeeta Mehta.
Nikeeta's performance, characterised by her deft footwork, precise passing and all-round gameplay, was a silver lining for Netchicks. Her grit and determination, even in the face of adversity, solidified her position as this week's most valued player, earning her much-deserved applause and admiration from fans and players alike.
As week four of Leicester's Sunday Netball season concludes, the teams are gearing up to bring their A-game for next week's line-up. With the intensity rising, it’s anyone’s game at this point in the season. The scores have been close, and competition fierce, it's only a matter of time before we see who nets the final glory.
