Last night saw another engaging round of matches in the division of the Mansfield Wednesday netball league, with strong performances and some unexpected results that added interest to the standings.

The Black Panthers faced a challenging match against the Shooting Stars and found it difficult to match their pace, resulting in a 10–1 scoreline. Shooting Stars demonstrated excellent shooting accuracy and well-organised play, standing out on the night.

Meanwhile, Ballers came up against Stealing Passes, with the game finishing 17–4. Despite the result, Ballers’ player Louise Radford delivered a standout performance. Showing great skill and determination throughout, she was named the most valued player of the week.

High Hoops and Nets Top Models also competed in a competitive match, which ended in a 10–5 win for Nets Top Models. Both teams showed solid defensive and attacking play, making it an enjoyable contest.

This week’s matches highlighted the competitive and ever-changing nature of the league, with performances improving and new players making their mark each week. Louise Radford’s display for Ballers was a particular highlight and suggests more strong performances to come.
