Enjoyable Matches Mark Week 6 of the Mansfield Wednesday Netball League

The Mansfield Wednesday Netball League continued into its sixth week with another great evening of matches, as teams showed strong teamwork and commitment across the League.

As a back to netball league, the focus remains on creating a fun, welcoming, and supportive environment for all players. Teams are reminded that matches should always be played in the right spirit, with enjoyment, respect, and sportsmanship at the heart of every game. It’s a social league designed for everyone to have fun, stay active, and enjoy their netball.

One of the standout games saw Stealing Passes secure a 17-12 win over Nets Top Models. Both teams played well, with plenty of energy and good passages of play throughout, making it an entertaining contest.

Ballers delivered a confident performance to take a 13-4 win against On Target. Their attacking play worked well on the night, while On Target continued to show effort and determination throughout the match.

The Black Panthers also had a solid game, earning a 13-5 victory over High Hoops. With some sharp passing and good movement, they were able to make the most of their opportunities on court.

This week’s Most Valued Player was Melissa Lowton of Shooting Stars. Her performance stood out on the night, showing great skill, awareness, and consistency throughout her game.

As the League moves into the next round of fixtures, teams will be looking to build on their performances and continue enjoying competitive and friendly matches each week. The Mansfield Wednesday Netball League is shaping up well, with plenty more action still to come.
