In the exciting world of netball, week 5 of the Mansfield Wednesday Netball League brought another round of enjoyable and closely contested matches. Teams across the league continued to show great teamwork and determination, creating plenty of moments for spectators to enjoy.

Shooting Stars and Ballers faced each other in a competitive match, with Ballers coming away with a 5–2 win. Shooting Stars worked hard throughout the game and showed great effort, but Ballers managed to take their chances well to secure the result.

Nets Top Models met Black Panthers in another entertaining fixture. Both teams played with plenty of energy, and after a close contest Nets Top Models edged the game 7–5, with the result staying in the balance right up until the final whistle.

One of the most exciting games of the week saw High Hoops take on On Target. It proved to be a very closely fought match, with High Hoops just managing to take the win 14–13 after a fantastic effort from both teams.

There were strong performances across the courts, but Danielle Lea from On Target was recognised as the Most Valued Player of the week. Her excellent work rate and contribution to the game stood out, even in such a narrowly contested match.

As the season continues, teams will be looking ahead to the next round of fixtures with plenty of enthusiasm. The league table is still very open, and with the level of competition and teamwork on display each week, there are sure to be many more exciting matches to come in the Mansfield Wednesday Netball League.
