WEEK 13 OF THE MANSFIELD WEDNESDAY NETBALL LEAGUE

Week thirteen of the Mansfield Wednesday netball league brought another evening of competitive and enjoyable matches, with teams across the League continuing to show great teamwork, determination, and improvement on court. As the season moves closer to its conclusion, every game continues to provide valuable opportunities for teams to build confidence and enjoy their netball.

One of the evening’s fixtures saw Black Panthers secure a 10-1 win over Block It Like It’s Hot. Black Panthers worked well together throughout the match, showing good communication and consistency across the court. Block It Like It’s Hot remained positive and continued to work hard throughout the game, showing determination from start to finish.

Elsewhere, Nets Top Models earned a 16-10 victory over On Target in a well-contested fixture. Both teams created good opportunities and produced some strong passages of play, making it an engaging game throughout the evening.

High Hoops and Ballers played out one of the closest matches of the night, with High Hoops narrowly securing a 7-6 win. It was a tightly contested game, with both sides showing strong defensive work and good teamwork across the court.

Shooting Stars also recorded an 11-6 victory against Stealing Passes. Both teams remained competitive throughout the match, contributing to another enjoyable and hard-fought fixture in the League.

There were also standout individual performances during the evening, with Alex Ross from Black Panthers being named Player of the Week. Their contribution on court, combined with excellent teamwork and effort, helped make a real impact for their side.

Across the League, teams continue to improve week by week, building confidence and developing stronger partnerships on court. The league continues to provide a welcoming and supportive environment where players can enjoy competitive netball while continuing to develop their game.

With only a few weeks remaining in the season, teams will now be looking to finish strongly and continue building on their performances. The League remains closely contested, and there are still plenty of exciting fixtures to come as the season reaches its final stages.
