Mansfield Wednesday night netball - week 10

Week 10 of the Mansfield Wednesday netball league delivered another enjoyable and competitive evening, with all teams showing great effort, teamwork, and positive spirit throughout the night.

The first match saw Shooting Stars take on High Hoops. High Hoops settled into the game quickly, demonstrating strong communication and consistency through the court. Their attacking play flowed well, and they were able to convert their chances effectively, resulting in a 14–2 win. Shooting Stars continued to work hard and showed determination throughout, never letting their heads drop and continuing to support each other until the final whistle.

Next up was Stealing Passes versus On Target, which proved to be a well-contested game. Both teams showed some great passages of play, with strong defensive pressure and moments of attacking quality. On Target managed to find a bit more rhythm in front of goal and gradually built a lead, finishing with a 12–4 win. Stealing Passes, however, showed resilience and good teamwork, creating opportunities and battling throughout the match.

The final game of the evening featured Black Panthers against Ballers. Black Panthers put in a confident and composed performance, working the ball well through the court and capitalising on their scoring opportunities to secure a 13–3 victory. Despite the result, Ballers continued to show great determination and effort across all quarters. A standout performance came from Louise Radford, whose hard work, attitude, and consistency earned her the well-deserved Most Valued Player of the week award. Her contribution and commitment were clear to see and made a real impact for her team.

Across all matches, it was great to see the continued enthusiasm and sportsmanship from everyone involved. The league continues to provide a welcoming and enjoyable environment, with players supporting one another and embracing both the competitive and social aspects of the game.

As we move into the next round of fixtures, it will be exciting to see how teams continue to develop, build on their performances, and enjoy their netball.
