Mansfield Wednesday night netball - end of season

Congratulations to Shooting Stars, this season’s winners of the Mansfield League, and well done to Nets Top Models, who finished as runners-up. A special congratulations also goes to Titilla Elliot of High Hoops, who was awarded Most Valued Player of the Season for her outstanding performances throughout the campaign.

The Mansfield Wednesday Netball League came to an exciting and positive close this week, bringing the season to an end with a round of competitive and enjoyable matches across the League.

Shooting Stars finished the season in style with a confident 10–1 win over Ballers. Their strong teamwork and consistency across the season saw them finish top of the League with 26 points and 13 wins, securing a well-deserved league title.

Elsewhere, teams continued to show great effort and sportsmanship in the final fixtures. Stealing Passes claimed a 13–6 win over Nets Get Physical, while Nets Top Models edged out Black Panthers in a closely contested 9–5 match. High Hoops rounded off their season with an 8–2 victory over On Target.

The final week also celebrated individual achievement, with Sophie Martin of Shooting Stars being named Most Valued Player of the Week, recognising her important contribution to her team’s strong finish.

As the season comes to a close, it reflects another enjoyable and competitive year of netball in Mansfield. We look forward to welcoming teams back for future seasons filled with teamwork, development, and great matches.
