Play in the Oldham Monday you play netball league!
Week two of the Oldham Monday Netball League brought plenty of energy, teamwork, and enjoyable moments on court, with every team showing great spirit and determination throughout the evening. In the League division, Ballers and Time To Shine both had strong performances and came away with well-earned wins.
Ballers worked brilliantly together in their match against Saddleworth Sirens, securing an 11–7 victory. Their movement around the court and supportive teamwork helped create an exciting game for players and spectators alike.
Time To Shine also put in a confident performance, earning a 15–5 win over Shots & Giggles. Their communication and defensive play stood out, helping them build momentum throughout the match.
One of the standout players of the evening was Claire Navarro from Shots & Giggles, who was named the most valued player. Her determination, quick reactions, and positive attitude shone through from start to finish and made a real impact on the game.
With such encouraging performances across the league, the season is shaping up to be full of fun, teamwork, and competitive spirit in the best way. As teams look ahead to the next round of fixtures, there’s plenty for players and supporters to look forward to in the weeks ahead.
