Oldham Monday Week 10 - 11/5/26

The Oldham Monday Netball League came to a close after a fantastic 10-week season, with the final round of matches bringing plenty of energy, teamwork, and memorable moments for everyone involved. Throughout the season, teams showed great commitment, sportsmanship, and a real passion for netball, making it another enjoyable league for players and supporters alike.

Blue Lightning finished the season strongly with a 21-2 win over Ballers, completing a brilliant campaign with 18 points and 9 wins. Their consistency, teamwork, and positive attitude have been clear to see all season long.

Another closely contested match saw Seven Heaven take on Saddleworth Sirens in an exciting game, with Seven Heaven narrowly securing a 9-6 victory. Both teams showed great determination and teamwork throughout the match, making it a great game to watch.

Time To Shine also ended their season on a high with a 12-7 win against Shots & Giggles in a fun and spirited encounter that rounded off the evening nicely.

A special mention goes to Georgia from Shots and Giggles, who was named the league’s Most Valued Player. Georgia impressed throughout the season with her skill, consistency, and encouragement on court, making a fantastic contribution to her team and the league as a whole.

The season has once again highlighted the strong sense of community within the Oldham Monday Netball League, with every team bringing enthusiasm, support, and great team spirit each week. As this season comes to an end, everyone is already looking forward to coming back together for more netball, friendly competition, and enjoyable Monday evenings next season.
