In the electrifying atmosphere of the Derby Thursday Netball league, the ninth week brought forth some jaw-dropping performances and unexpected score lines.

The 'Don’t Stop Believing' team faced a tough opponent in 'Rykneld’s Finest.' Despite their best efforts, 'Don’t Stop Believing' fell short with a final score of 3-12 in favor of 'Rykneld’s Finest.'

On the other court, 'The Rams' clashed with 'Derby Dolls.' In this intense battle, 'The Rams' couldn't maintain their usual momentum and ultimately succumbed to 'Derby Dolls' 4-8.

The night's most thrilling game, however, was between 'Destiny’s Childs' and 'The Diagnostix.' With their exceptional gameplay, 'Destiny’s Childs' managed to clinch a victory with a scoreline of 10-5.

The standout performer of the week was none other than Julie Baylis from 'Rykneld’s Finest.' Baylis's performance throughout the match made her the deserving recipient of the Most Valued Player award of the week.

The top scorers of each match were instrumental in their team's success. In the 'Don’t Stop Believing' vs. 'Rykneld’s Finest' game. In the 'The Rams' vs. 'Derby Dolls' match, the top scorer from 'Derby Dolls' made the difference. And in the 'Destiny’s Childs' vs. 'The Diagnostix' game, the lead scorer from 'Destiny’s Childs' steered their team to victory.
