Derby Thursday Week 8 - 30/4/26

Week 8 of the Derby Thursday Netball League brought another enjoyable evening of netball, with all League division teams taking to the court and showing great effort, teamwork, and skill. There were plenty of close moments, and every game added something to the overall league picture.

Diagnostix faced Don’t Stop Believing in a closely fought match, with both teams putting in strong performances. Don’t Stop Believing came away with a 14–9 win, thanks to some lovely teamwork and well-worked play throughout the game.

In another fixture, The Rams met the Derby Darlings in a spirited contest. The Rams found a good rhythm at both ends of the court, earning an 11–3 result. A special mention goes to Lily Draper from The Rams, who was named Player of the Week for her standout performance.

The Derby Dolls also had a positive game against Destiny’s Childs, combining well as a team and making the most of their chances to finish 24–2. Their performance sees them leading the way as this week’s top scorers in the League division.

With just two weeks left in the season, teams are continuing to enjoy their matches and make the most of their time on court. It’s been great to see the progress and enthusiasm across the league.
