In a thrilling series of clashes, week 8 of the Derby Thursday  Netball League ended with some notable moments that had the players on their toes. With only two weeks remaining in the season, competition among teams is heating up as they jostle for top spots to secure their place for the next season.

A fierce competition in the Premier League saw the Derby Dolls and Don't Stop Believing ending in an 8-8 draw. Both teams displayed exceptional athleticism and unyielding determination, with neither willing to concede to the other. The match proved to be an epitome of the competitive spirit that the League has come to be known for this season.

In another Premier League fixture, The Diagnostix were toppled by Rykneld's Finest with a final score of 5-9. 

Destiny's Childs faced a defeat at the hands of The Rams with a scoreline of 5-10. The Rams demonstrated their game strategy, making a powerful statement about their intent to dominate the division.

The most riveting highlight of the week was undoubtedly the heart-stopping performance by Kimberley Matwani of Don't Stop Believing. Matwani's incredible agility and skills earned her the title of 'Most Valued Player' for the week, further solidifying her team's position in the league.
