Play in the Derby Thursday you play netball league
Week two of the Derby Thursday League brought another fun and energetic evening of netball, with all teams showing great teamwork, effort, and enthusiasm on court.
The Diagnostix enjoyed a strong performance against The Rams, working well together across the court to secure an 11–3 win. Their organised play and supportive teamwork helped them put together a confident display.
Don’t Stop Believing also had a successful evening in their match against Destiny’s Childs, coming away with an 18–1 victory. One of the standout performers of the night was Beth Pawley, whose movement, accuracy, and positive contribution to the game earned her the well-deserved title of Player of the Week.
Elsewhere, Derby Dolls faced Derby Darlings in another entertaining fixture. Derby Dolls combined strong teamwork and communication to claim a 17–5 win, while both teams continued to show great determination throughout the match.
With the season still in its early stages, the Derby Thursday League is already proving to be a fantastic mix of enjoyable netball, team spirit, and friendly competition. Every week brings new opportunities for teams to grow in confidence and build momentum, and everyone is looking forward to more great matches in the weeks ahead.
