Derby Thursday Week 10 - 5/3/26

In a thrilling conclusion to the 10-week Derby Thursday Netball league, the League division saw some competition with Team Don`t Stop Believing claiming the top spot with a remarkable 18 points and 9 wins!

The final week was replete with tight matches and surprising plays, but the stand-out game was between The Diagnostix and Destiny`s Childs. Destiny's Childs demonstrated their fantastic skills and coordination on court while The Diagnostix showcased their determination and talent leading them to a win of 12-4.

Derby Dolls and The Rams also played it out on the court with Derby Dolls showing their strength. Dolls won against The Rams in a high scoring match that ended 14-6. Katie from Rams won player of the match due to her determination and mettle throughout the match. There was no denying the electrifying atmosphere as teams played their hearts out in this final week.

Beth Pawley from Don`t Stop Believing, clinched the title of the most valued player of the week. Pawley's exceptional skills and fierce determination reflected in her thrilling performance, making her a deserving recipient of the commendation.

Our Player of the Season is Chantelle from The Diagnostix! She is a testament to her team being runners up in the league this season, her strength and confidence on court is most admirable and deserving of our Player of the Season title.

As the final week of the season concludes, the League division of the Derby Thursday league has left a lasting impression on its audience. The players' commitment, coupled with the nail-biting matches, has set the tone for future seasons.
