Derby Thursday Social Netball Update 19th June
THRILLING WEEK 6 OF THE DERBY THURSDAY SOCIAL NETBALL LEAGUE
In an adrenaline-fueled evening of netball, week 6 of the Derby Thursday League did not disappoint, as teams battled it out on the court demonstrating outstanding athleticism and prowess.
In a gripping face-off, the Derby Dolls took on newcomers The Diagnostix this week and the extra 5 weeks experience showed as they registered a 13 - 1 victory. Credit must go to The Diagnostix though as they showed courage and determination and look as though they will be a competitive team in the weeks to come.
Meanwhile, Destiny`s Childs, known for their tenacious defence and explosive offence, faced a tough match against Rykneld's Finest. Despite their best efforts, they fell short at 4-17, succumbing to Rykneld's excellent strategy and teamwork. Rykneld's Finest displayed an impressive performance, reflecting their position as top scorers in the division.
In parallel, The Rams locked horns with a depleted Don`t Stop Believing this week. The Rams took the points as they were awarded the 5-0 victory this week.
The League witnessed a spectacular show of skill, determination, and sportsmanship this week. As teams jostle for the top position, the stakes continue to rise in this enthralling netball season. With such remarkable performances.
