Derby Thursday social netball update 12th June
In the fifth week of the Derby Thursday social netball league we had an enthralling display of skill, strategy, and sheer athleticism. The matches were a testament to the hard work and dedication of each player.
We can confirm that we have a new team starting this week so we would like to welcome them to the league and wish them luck for the season ahead.
The first match kicked off with The Rams locking horns with Rykneld's Finest. In an intense clash, Rykneld’s Finest emerged victorious with a score of 10-5, proving their mettle and maintaining a stronghold in the league standings. Despite a solid effort.
In the second match, Destiny`s Childs and Derby Dolls faced off in what can only be described as a nail-biting encounter. The teams displayed exceptional skills and resilience, turning the game into a true showdown. However, it was the Derby Dolls who managed to weave their magic, securing a win with a score of 14-9. Destiny’s Childs, although they were outscored, showed tenacity, promising a more potent challenge in the upcoming matches.
