Warm camaraderie and friendly competition filled the air at the Rykneld Sports Centre last Thursday, marking the 10th week of our social netball season. Players of all experience levels gathered for another enjoyable evening, coming together to celebrate the spirit of the game and the bonds forged on and off the court.

In the first match, The Rams and Destiny’s Childs demonstrated the power of teamwork and commitment. The Rams finished the game with a score of 8-2. The positive energy was palpable on court as both teams displayed exceptional sportsmanship, a testament to the values of our club.

Don’t Stop Believing and Derby Dolls brought their A-game to the court, with a scoreline of 8-5. Both teams showcased their netball skills and love for the game, creating an enjoyable atmosphere filled with laughter and shared respect.

The Derby Darlings and The Diagnostix played a memorable match, resulting in a 6-6 tie. Both teams, though different in their style of play, mirrored each other in their enthusiasm and dedication - truly a game played in great spirit.

A special mention goes to our Most Valued Player of the week, Mani Khangura from the Derby Dolls. Mani's constant movement around the court, impressive teamwork, and infectious enthusiasm were appreciated by teammates and opponents alike. Well done, Mani!
