Yesterday marked the second week of the thrilling Derby Thursday Netball league, with the high-speed action unfolding in the League.

The night kicked off with a fierce clash between The Diagnostix and The Rams. The Rams took the game by the horns, defeating The Diagnostix in a commanding 7-1 victory. The Rams demonstrated a remarkable sense of team spirit and tactical acumen, setting the tone for the rest of the night.

This was followed by a match between Destiny`s Childs and Don`t Stop Believing that transcended expectations. Don`t Stop Believing showed a robust performance, shutting out Destiny`s Childs with a remarkable 16-0 scoreline. This was an astounding display of both defensive and offensive prowess by Don`t Stop Believing, marking their place as one of the top contenders in the League.

But the highlight of the night was the stimulating game between Derby Dolls and Derby Darlings. The Derby Dolls managed to secure a victory with a 12-5 score, showcasing their mettle and competitiveness.

However, amidst the hard-fought matches, one player stood out. Kimberley Matwani from Derby Darlings was named the most valued player of the week. Despite her team’s result, Matwani's stellar performance on the court, her sharp shooting skills, and her quick-footed agility caught everyone's eye.
